Martina Childress, financial editor at Councilor, Buchanan & Mitchell (老葡京手机app), spearheaded the collection of more than 70 toys by the firm’s team members in support of the holiday toy drive by La Clínica del Pueblo, a local charity celebrating its 40th anniversary. The initiative exceeded its goal of collecting 40 toys. She and her husband Charlie dropped off the gifts at All Souls Unitarian Church in Washington, DC on Saturday, December 9.
La Clínica del Pueblo is a not-for-profit charity whose mission is to build a healthy Latino community through culturally appropriate health services, focusing on those most in need throughout Washington, DC and Maryland.
Childress is one of the most community service-minded team members at 老葡京手机app. Last year, she helped donate more than 100 pairs of socks and 100 hats to So Others Might Eat. Over the years, she has also supported organizations as diverse as Bethesda Cares, the Montgomery Coalition for the Homeless, A Wider Circle and Crossway Community.
